Bondellio Named to D3Kicks New York All Region Second Team

Nicole Bondellio (Watkins Glen, N.Y./Corning West), the most prolific scorer in Keuka College women’s soccer history, was rewarded for her sensational senior year by being named to the D3Kicks New York All Region second team.
Bondellio, the 2004 and 2007 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Player of the Year, led Keuka to a 12-6 overall and perfect 9-0 conference mark this fall. The Storm won the NEAC regular season championship but fell one goal short of winning the NEAC Tournament. The Storm did earn a birth into the ECAC Upstate Tournament.
Bondellio, a four-time All-NEAC first team selection, did more then her share netting 18 goals and dishing off eight assists for a total of 44 points, all team-highs.
The midfielder slash forward finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in goals, assists, and points. Bondellio ended with 50 goals, six more then the second person in the Keuka annals. She dished off 12 more assists (39) then the No. 2 person in the record books while finishing with 35 more points (139) then the next closest Keuka player.
Bondellio was a truly dominant player for Keuka and was also rewarded for her academic success her junior year. She was named to the ESPN CoSIDA Academic All-American third team.
