Storm Make ECACs

The 2007 women’s soccer team was selected as the No. 6 seed in the this week’s ECAC Upstate Tournament. The Storm will face No. 3 seed Nazareth College this Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 2 pm at Nazareth’s Golden Flyer Stadium.
Keuka, the favorite to win the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Tournament and make the NCAA Tournament, was defeated 1-0 by Baptist Bible College in the NEAC championship game.
Brockport State (15-3-1), who defeated Keuka 4-0 during the season, was awarded the top seed and will host No. 8 Medaille (14-5-1). No. 2 University of Rochester will host No. 7 Fredonia State (8-7-3) while No. 4 Vassar (9-6-1) will host No. 5 RIT (9-6-2), who beat the Storm 4-1 this year.
The highest remaining seed will host both the semifinals and finals this Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-11. Saturday’s semifinals will be played at 11 am and 1:30 pm while the championship will be played at noon on Sunday.
