Storm Set to Open Season at D’Youville Tourney

The Keuka College volleyball team will open its season on Friday, Aug. 29 at the D’Youville College Spartan Tournament. Keuka will square off against Cazenovia College at 4 pm and then take on SUNY Morrisville at 6 pm.
The Storm would then play two more games on Saturday, Aug. 30 with the opponents and times to be determined by how they fare on day one.
Last season, Keuka openened with this tournament and won its first three games (3-1, 3-1, 3-0) before falling to the host Spartans (1-3).
Keuka will play in four tournaments, not counting the NEAC Tournament, this season. The D’Youville College Spartan Tournament, the New Paltz Hawk Invitational (Sept. 12-13), the Keuka College Classic (Sept. 20), and the Keuka College Invite (Oct. 11).
Keuka first home match is a tri-match against both Utica College and new NEAC conference member SUNYIT. The Storm will square off against SUNYIT at 10 am and the face Utica at 2 pm. Utica and SUNYIT will play each other at noon.
