Scott At it Again in Latest Men’s Soccer Win

Senior Brandon Scott tallied six points in the win.
Keuka senior Brandon Scott (Fillmore, N.Y./Fillmore) was back at his usual scoring ways in the Storm’s 6-1 thumping of Wells College on Saturday. Behind six points from the forward, The Storm improved to 5-1 on the year while Wells falls to 3-4-1.
The two teams had the exact amount of shots (21) but the Storm managed to score six times while limiting Wells to only one score. Keuka netted three goals in the opening half and three more in the second. The Storm also received a great game by its goalies, who stopped 13 of the 21 Wells shots. Read more
Volleyball Sweeps NEAC Tri-Match

Junior Holly McHale led Keuka with 22 kills and 30 digs.
The Keuka College volleyball team won both matches of a crucial North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) tri-match at Cazenovia College on Saturday.
The Storm won easily, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-19), against the host Wildcats in its first match before pulling off a dramatic come-from-behind 3-2 (15-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-8) win over SUNY Cobleskill.
Keuka improves to 2-1 in conference action and 9-8 overall. Cazenovia falls to 1-3 in the NEAC and 2-15 overall while Cobleskill now stands at 1-2 in the conference and 4-7 overall. Read more

Junior Holly McHale led the Storm with four kills and eight digs.
The Keuka volleyball team dipped below .500 on the year as they were shutout 3-0 on the road at Elmira College on Wednesday.
The Storm fall to 7-8 on the season while Elmira improves to 8-4.
Keuka finished with only nine kills as a team in 75 total attacks (.027) en route to the three game sweep. Keuka lost 10-25, 17-25, and 11-25. Elmira finished with 39 kills as a team while sporting a .323 attack percentage. Read more

Women’s Soccer Loses 3-1 to BBC on the Road

Sophomore Courtney McLaughlin scored her team-leading third goal.
The Keuka College women’s soccer fell in a rematch of last season’s North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship game to the Defenders of Baptist Bible College by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.
The Storm fall to 2-4 on the year while BBC improves to 5-1. The Defenders, not a member of the NEAC anymore, also defeated the Storm (1-0) to win the NEAC Championship last fall. Read more
