Volleyball Winning Streak Halted at Four Games

The Keuka College volleyball team had its four game winning streak snapped by Nazareth College as the Storm fell 3-0 on the road Wednesday.
The Storm lost by scores of 16-25, 15-25, and 21-25. Keuka now sits at 11-9 overall while Nazareth improves to 18-6.
Nazareth finished with a team-hitting percentage of .290 while the Storm managed an attack percentage of just a .085. Leading the way for Keuka was sophomore outside hitter Raelle Naegely (Colorado Springs, CO/Pine Creek) with six kills and eight digs. Junior outside hitter Holly McHale (Carthage, N.Y./Jefferson CC) added five kills and a team-high nine digs.
The Storm will next play host to the Keuka College Invitational this Saturday, Oct. 11. It will be an eight team tournament beginning at 9 am. Keuka will square off against SUNY Buffalo (9 am), Clarkson University (3 pm), and Medaille College (7 pm).
