Four Volleyball Players Named to All-NEAC Teams
November 10, 2008

Junior Holly McHale was named to the All-NEAC first team.
The Keuka women’s volleyball season didn’t end how they would have hoped. The Storm suffered a 3-0 loss to the Spartans of D’Youville College in the semifinals of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Tournament on Saturday. Still, four Storm players were rewarded for their fine seasons on the court by the conference.
Highlighting the list of All-NEAC selections was junior outside hitter Holly McHale (Carthage, N.Y./Jefferson CC) as she was named to the first team. McHale led the Storm with 286 digs (2.95) while finishing second on the team in kills (166) and kill percentage (.149), and third in aces (34).
Named to the All-NEAC second team was sophomore outside hitter Raelle Naegely (Colorado Springs, CO/Pine Creek) and senior setter Diana Frank (West Valley, N.Y./West Valley). Naegely led the Storm in kills (249) and kill percentage (.154) and was third on the team in blocks (41) and digs (159). Frank orchestrated the Storm’s offense while leading in assists (402). She was second on the team in aces (37) and fifth in digs (140).
Fellow setter, sophomore Katy Geers (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley), was selected to the All-NEAC third team. Geers finished second on the team with 190 assists while adding 113 digs and 11 aces.
