Women’s Soccer Draws #5 William Smith in NCAAs

Making just its second-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament, Keuka College’s women’s soccer program received its first round opponent Monday. 

The Storm will square off against the No. 5 ranked team in the country, the Herons of William Smith College.  William Smith boasts a record of 13-1-4 and won the Liberty League regular season and tournament titles for the second year in a row.

The last time Keuka faced its neighbor from Geneva was back in 2005 when the Storm were shutout 4-0 in its season-opener.

The game will take place at Nazareth College this Saturday, Nov. 15 at 11 am.  Nazareth College (12-7-1) will take on the Endicott (15-3-2) at 1:30 pm in the other regional played at Nazareth.  The two winners will square off on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1 pm.

Ticket prices for the game will be $6 for adults, $3 for students, and $2 for children 12 and under.
