Men’s Hoops Suffers First Loss of Season

Junior Peter Durr scored a season-high 13 points in the loss.
The Keuka men’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the 2008-09 campaign as they fell 74-55 to Hartwick College on the road Tuesday, Nov. 25.
The Storm had all five starters score nine points or more but it wasn’t enough as they fall to 2-1 on the year. Hartwick had four players in double figures as they improved to 3-1 overall.
The Storm fell into an early hole as they trailed by nine (11-2) in the game’s first five minutes of action. The Hawks built its lead to as many as 16 (32-16) with just 3:33 remaining in the first half. The Storm used an 11-2 run to close out the opening half to trail 34-27 at the break. Read more
