Men’s Squad to Face U of R in Opening Round of JPMorgan Chase Tourney

Sophomore's Diamond Booker (55) and Chas Tangredi (4) and Junior Alex Coleman (3) will lead the Storm in the upcoming JPMorgan Tournament.
The Keuka College men’s basketball team was named the No. 8 seed in the 43rd Annual Men’s JPMorgan Chase Scholarship Tournament and will face the top seeded Yellowjackets of the University of Rochester.
The first round game will be played this Wednesday, Jan. 14 at SUNY Brockport with tip off scheduled for 6:15 pm.
The Storm find themselves in a similar situation as last year, when they were the eighth seed and had to face U. of R in the first round. Keuka lost that game 81-37. The 9-2 Yellowjackets return only one starter from last years team.
If the Storm win, they will play the winner of No. 4 St. John Fisher and No. 5 Roberts Wesleyan on Friday, Jan. 16 at RIT beginning at 6:15 pm. If they fall short, they will face the loser of that game also on Friday Jan. 16 at RIT starting at 1:30 pm.
