Keuka Draws Univ. of Dallas in Quarterfinals of NEAC Tourney
February 24, 2009

The Storm will look to bring back its first NEAC Tournament title since 2006-07.
The Keuka College women’s basketball team probably should have been the No. 1 seed and host for the upcoming North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Tournament. The Storm were the only team to lose just once to another conference foe and are still riding a 12-game winning streak.
However, Keuka (14-7) was slapped with the No. 2 seed while the Fighting Tigers of SUNY Cobleskill (17-6), who the Storm beat 48-41 in its regular season finale on Saturday, were awarded the top seed.
That sets up a game against the No. 7 seeded Crusaders of the University of Dallas who finished the season with a 6-18 mark. Dallas’ record is a bit deceiving, however, as they do not play any teams from around here due to its location in Texas. Read more
