The Keuka College women’s basketball team will be headed to the University of Scranton for its first-round match up of the NCAA Tournament this Friday, March 6 beginning at 7 pm.

The Storm, playing in its second NCAA Tournament in the past three years, made the “Big Dance” by winning the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Tournament this past weekend.  The Royals (23-4) won the Landmark Conference Tournament for the second year in a row with a 71-57 victory over Moravian College. 

Scranton has now won 16-straight games while the Storm are currently riding a 15-game winning streak.

The other two teams in the Storm’s bracket are Cortland State (23-4) and St. Lawrence (19-7).  The two will square off against each other at 6 pm at Scranton.

A couple other Rochester area schools made the NCAA’s with the University of Rochester hosting first round games that include Kean University (21-7) against Marymount (Va.) (20-6) and the Yellowjackets (22-3) against Widener (18-9).  Brockport State (19-9) will be playing at Brandeis against Mt. St. Mary (23-4).
