Men’s Tennis Shutout by Berks

Junior Will Fisher lost his singles match 6-1, 6-3.
The men’s tennis team suffered a set back in its attempt to win the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season as they dropped a 9-0 decision to the visiting Nittany Lions of Penn State-Berks on Sunday.
Keuka slips to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference while Berks improves to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in the NEAC.
Berks won all six singles matches easily with junior Will Fisher (Watkinsville, GA/Oconee) coming the closest to winning with his 1-6, 3-6 loss in the second flight.
Keuka dropped all three doubles matches although barely losing the second and third flights. Senior Justin Roe (Port Byron, N.Y./Port Byron) and sophomore Patrick Barker (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) were just barely edged (8-6) as the duo of sophomore Blaine Phair (Pemborke, NH/Pemborke) and junior Casey Dahlstrom (Grand Island, N.Y./Grand Island) also lost by a score of 8-6.
Keuka will next play host to Roberts Wesleyan College this Tuesday, April 7 at 3 pm.
