Baseball Falls to Brockport 13-2

Sophomore David Janiszeski batted 3-for-4 with a double.
The Keuka baseball team dropped a single game to the Golden Eagles of Brockport State by a score of 13-2 on Tuesday, April 21. Keuka slips to 5-19 overall while Brockport inches over .500 at 17-16.
The Storm allowed four runs in the top of the first and then three more in the third and two in the fourth to fall behind 9-0. Keuka plated a run in the fifth before giving up four more runs. Keuka then added one more run in the eighth to make it 13-2.
Sophomore Mike Marsh (Elmira, n.Y./Southside) took the loss on the hill allowing six earned in three innings. Senior Josiah DelGrosso (Montour Falls, N.Y./Corning Christian) pitched four innings of relief while allowing four earned.
Sophomore David Janiszeski (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) batted 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored while rookie DJ Beaudette (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) chipped in with two hits in four at bats. Rookie Nick Ventura (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) and junior Simon Mills (Boonville, N.Y./Adirondack) each drove in a run for Keuka.
The Storm will next play at Pitt-Bradford this Saturday, April 25 beginning at 1 pm.
