Men’s Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision to Cazenovia
October 29, 2009

Senior Tyler Shaw and the rest of Keuka's defense limited Cazenovia to just one goal.
The Keuka men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 game to the visiting Wildcats of Cazenovia College on Thursday.
The loss drops the Storm to to 7-6-1 overall while Cazenovia improves to 9-6-1.
The two teams were close in shots with the Wildcats holding a slight edge (18-16). Keuka dominated the corner kicks (6-2) and held the ball the majority of the second half. It wasn’t enough however, as an early goal by Cazenovia would be all the scoring.
Cazenovia’s Gregorie Ducasse netted the games lone goal in the 29th minute (28:41). Keuka out-shot Cazenovia 12-6 in the second half and hit the crossbar on two shots but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Mike Meskill (Trumansburg, N.Y./Charles O. Dickerson) had six saves in goal for the Storm.
Keuka will next play its final regular season game at Penn State-Abington this Saturday, Oct. 31 beginning at 3 pm.
