Storm Draw Williams in First Round of NCAA’s

The Keuka College women’s soccer team will face off against the Ephs of Williams College out of Williamstown, Mass. in its first round game of the NCAA Tournament. 

The Storm will play at Williams College at 11 a.m. this Saturday, Nov. 14 while SUNY Oneonta (11-5-3) will take on Skidmore (11-4-3) at 1:30 pm in the other game being played at Williams.

The two winners would then play on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 1 pm.

Ticket prices will be $6 for adults, $3 for students, and $2 for children.

Williams (17-0) is one of only two teams in the nation that has not lost or tied a game this season, with Trinity (16-0) as the other one.  The Ephs, who are currently ranked second in the latest NSCAA rankings, won the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tournament championship for the third straight year to earn a birth into the NCAA Tournament.

The Ephs are averaging 3.41 goals a game while Keuka is scoring 2.99.  Both teams sport spectacular defense as well with Keuka allowing just 17 goals all year for a 0.92 goals scored average.  Williams has given up just seven goals in 17 games for a 0.41 goals scored average.
