Meskill Tabbed NEAC Goalie of the Year; 4 Others Recognized

Senior Mike Meskill was selected the NEAC Goalie of the Year.
The Keuka College men’s soccer team, who sported an 8-7-1 overall record this year, had five players recognized by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on its All-Conference teams.
Led by senior goalie Mike Meskill (Trumansburg, N.Y./Charles O. Dickerson) who was selected as the NEAC Goalie of the Year while also being selected to the All-NEAC first team. Meskill started all 15 games he played in and finished with 84 saves and a 0.93 goals against average. He posted a 7-7-1 record while recording four shutouts, adding to his Keuka College record of 23 career shutouts.
Junior midfielder Jack Reece (Rochester, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) was selected to the All-NEAC second team after leading the team in all four offensive categories. He had five goals, three assists, 13 points, and two game-winning goals.
The Storm’s defense, which allowed just 14 goals all season and posted a 0.86 goals scored average, was well represented on the All-NEAC third team. Three members of the Storm’s backfield were selected; senior Tyler Shaw (Portville, N.Y./Portville) and rookies Nate Smith (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) and Reis Cunningham (Red Creek, N.Y./Red Creek). Smith finished with three goals and an assist while Cunningham had one game-winning goal.
