Men’s Hoop Stars Named Athletes of the Week

The Keuka College men’s basketball team received great games from its two star juniors Diamond Booker (Bronx, N.Y./Fredrick Douglas Douglas Acad.) and Calvin Logins (Newark, N.Y./Lyons) in its 85-51 defeat of SUNY Canton this past week. The duo were named Keuka Athletes of the Week for their performances.
Booker, the team’s 6-7 center, earns his second straight Keuka Athlete of the Week honor. He finished with his third double-double out of the team’s four games with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Booker went 6-for-9 from the floor while also picking up an assist, a block, and a steal. On the season, he is averaging 10.5 points and 13.3 rebounds a game.
Logins, the team’s leading scorer after four games, went off for a game-high 22 points while also pulling down 10 rebounds and collecting seven steals. He went 10-for-16 from the floor and had three assists and two blocks. For the season, he is averaging 18.8 points and 9.3 rebounds a contest.
