Durr and Madmoune Named Athletes of the Week

Senior Pete Durr (Barneveld, N.Y./Utica Notre Dame) and junior Nadia Madmoune (Rome N.Y./Rome Free Academy) have been named Keuka College Athletes of the Week for the week ending Jan.9.
Durr, an All-NEAC third team selection a season ago, led all Keuka scorers in a 62-61 loss to SUNY IT. He finished the game with 17 points (6-for-15). He also chipped in with two steals, two assists, and three rebounds. Durr hit half of the Storm’s 3-pointers with four long balls on the day. Durr is averaging 10.5 points per game this season and currently leads the Storms with 16 3-pointers.
Madmoune, who was also an All-NEAC third team last season, had a double-double while leading the Storm to a 60-57 win over SUNY IT. Madmoune finished the game with a team high 12 rebounds while adding 11 points, one assist, and one block. She shot 5-7 from the charity stripe. Madmoune currently averages seven points and 6.9 rebounds per game for the Storm this season.
