Logins and Mouzon Nab Athlete of the Week Honors

Basketball players Calvin Logins (Newark, N.Y./Lyons) and Mariah Mouzon (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Elmira Free Academy) were selected as Keuka College Athletes of the Week for the week ending Jan. 23.
Logins, the Storm’s (5-8) leading scorer, led Keuka to a 1-1 week while averaging 17 points (34) and 12.5 rebounds (25) a game. He had 23 points and 15 rebounds, both game-highs, in a win over Cazenovia College. The junior forward followed that up with an 11-point, 10-rebound performance in a loss to Wells College. He also added two assists, two blocks, and four steals against Wells. He shot 50% (13-for-26) from the floor on the week. Logins is averaging 18 points and 9.1 rebounds a contest this season.
Mouzon, Keuka’s (7-5) leading rebounder, had a career-game in the Storm’s lone game this week. She went-off for a career-high 29 points on 11-of-16 shooting in a win over Cazenovia College. The rookie forward also went 7-for-9 from the free throw line while collecting 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks. She is averaging 9.8 points (second on the team) and 7.2 rebounds a game on the season.
