New Look Storm Still Tops in NEAC
February 24, 2010

Junior midfielder David Miller is the Storm's top returning offensive player.
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) added men’s lacrosse to its offerings in 2009 and Keuka quickly established itself as the top program.
The Storm cruised to an undefeated NEAC regular season (4-0) and title before winning the conference tournament with a 17-4 thumping of Medaille College. Keuka outscored its NEAC foes 91-15 and tallied 100 more points (274-174) then all of its opponents. Keuka will try to repeat its conference dominance and improve its 8-7 overall record in 2010.
NEAC Coach of the Year Jason Paige will have to replace a very talented group of seniors that included six All-NEAC selections as well as the NEAC Tourney MVP. Paige’s lone returning starter will be junior goalie Brett Leonard (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill). In his first year of starting, Leonard was named the NEAC Goalie of the Year as well as Keuka’s MVP. Leonard finished with 145 saves while allowing just 103 goals. He posted a save percentage of .585. Fellow junior Jon Curry (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier), who went 2-0 with 21 saves, and rookie Ethan Kamholtz (Penn Yan, N.Y./Penn Yan) will fight with Leonard for time in-between the pipes. Read more
