Despite a 28-point, 16-rebound performance from junior Calvin Logins (Newark, N.Y./Lyons) the Storm were unable to knock off the visiting Wildcats of Cazenovia College as they fell by a score of 80-76.

Keuka falls for the fifth straight game and now sits at 6-13 overall.  Cazenovia wins just its second game of the year (2-20).

The two teams were tied 69-69 with just 5:14 remaining in the game, but the Wildcats outscored Keuka 11-7 over the rest of the game to grab the four-point victory. 

Cazenovia held a 4-point lead (41-37) at halftime as well while both teams scored 39 points in the second half.  For the game Keuka shot 44% (32-for-72) while Cazenovia shot at a 50% (31-for-62) clip.  The Wildcats hit nine 3-pointers while the Storm added eight.  Keuka pulled down two more rebounds (40-38) while picking up six more steals (11-5).

Logins finished with game highs in both points (28) and rebounds (16) while going 13-for-25 from the floor.  Of his 16 rebounds, seven were offensive.  Junior Matt Thomason (Montour Falls, N.Y./Odessa-Montour) added 14 points, six rebounds, and four steals in his first collegiate start.

Senior Rob Crowley (Attica, N.Y./Attica) continued his dominant 3-point shooting as he hit four more long balls to finish with 14 points.    Rookie Ryan Klimek (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Arcadia) hit three 3-pointers off the bench.

Cazenovia was led by ex-Keuka player Cameron Smith.  Smith went for 19 points and five assists.  Robert Rohrig added 15 points and 16 rebounds.

Keuka will next play host to Penn State-Abington this Saturday, Feb. 13 beginning at 3 pm.
