Women’s Tennis Drop 6-3 Decision to St. Elizabeth

The Keuka women’s tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision on the road to the Eagles of the College of St. Elizabeth on Wednesday.  The Storm slip to 4-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference.

The Storm lost two of the three doubles matches and then won two of the six singles matches.

Junior Megan McGowan (Batavia, N.Y./Batavia) and senior Alison Liberty (South Berwick, ME/Marshwood) accounted for all of Keuka’s wins as they won 8-4 in the top flight of doubles.  McGowan then won 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in the top flight of singles to improve to 7-1 on the season.  Liberty followed suit with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the second flight.  Liberty is now 5-1 on the season.

Keuka will next play host to SUNY Oneonta this Saturday, April 17 beginning at 1 pm.
