Women’s Tennis Blanked by Roberts

Junior Megan McGowan lost for only the second time this season in singles.
The Keuka College women’s tennis team was shutout by the Raiders of Roberts Wesleyan College by a score of 9-0 on the road Monday. The Storm fall to 4-5 overall while Roberts improves to 11-2.
Roberts swept all three doubles matches by scores of 8-3, 8-3, and 8-0. The Raiders then took all six singles matches. JuniorMegan McGowan (Batavia, N.Y./Batavia) and rookie Kara Dewitt (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) came the closest to winning as they each fell 6-3, 6-3 in the first and fifth flights, respectively.
Keuka will next take on SUNY Cobleskill this Tuesday, April 20 beginning at 3 pm.
