Black and Ventura Named to All-NEAC 2nd Team

Senior Ted Black led the Storm in most offensive categories.
The Keuka College baseball team had two players recognized by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) by being selected to the All-NEAC second team. Senior first basemen Ted Black (Turin, N.Y./South Lewis) and sophomore second basemen Nick Ventura (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) helped lead the Storm to a 7-18 overall record and a 4-8 conference mark.
Black, who was a third team selection last season, led the Storm with a .365 batting average, 25 RBIs, a .568 slugging percentage, a .520 on-base percentage, and 24 walks. He was second on the team with 27 hits and 18 runs scored. Black also led the Storm with eight doubles and two triples while belting one home run. He finished with a .980 fielding percentage.
Ventura led the Storm with 30 hits while playing in just 24 games. He was second on the team with a .353 batting average, 18 runs, seven doubles, and a .459 slugging percentage. Ventura was third on the team with 14 RBIs and led the Storm with 62 assists.
