Four Men’s Lax Players Named to All-NEAC Teams

Sophomore Ben Ternosky led the team with 19 caused turnovers.
The Keuka College men’s lacrosse team, who went 5-9 overall and 4-2 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), had four players recognized by the conference on its All-Conference teams.
All four players were named to the All-NEAC second team. Leading the list were rookie attack-men Chris Redington (Tully, N.Y./Tully) and Mark Butto (Rochester, N.Y./Schroeder). Sophomore defender Ben Ternosky (LaFayette, N.Y./LaFayette) and junior goalie Brett Leonard (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) were also selected.
Redington led the Storm in scoring with 31 goals and 44 points. He was also second on the team in assists with 13. He added 22 ground balls on the season.
Butto was second on the team in scoring with 28 goals and 36 points. He was third in assists with eight while tallying one game-winning goal. Butto also grabbed 18 ground balls.
Ternosky led the team in caused turnovers with 19 while finishing third on the team with 33 ground balls. He helped the Keuka defense limit opponents to 11.30 goals a game.
Leonard, last season’s Goalie of the Year, finished the season with a 4-7 record in goal while stopping 166 shots. He posted a 12.46 goals against average and a .585 save percentage.
