Bush Honored for Community Service

Keuka College lacrosse standout Jennifer Bush, a senior-to-be and education major from Endwell, is the recipient of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association’s (IWLCA) Division III Community Awareness Award.
The award recognizes student-athletes who have contributed significantly to their community in a given year, given their time and energy to support and develop athlete-community relations, and distinguished themselves from their peers.
Bush and the three other student advocates in the Center for Experiential Learning’s Community Service Resource Center design a “Drive of the Month” to benefit one or more non-profit organizations or individuals in need. Read more
Kelly Lickert to Lead Women’s Lacrosse Program

Keuka College has selected Kelly Lickert to be its new women’s lacrosse coach.
A resident of Penn Yan, Lickert graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 2005 and helped the Mustangs win the New York State Class B girl’s lacrosse championship in 2004.
“It’s nice to be back home and I look forward to providing more opportunities for the young girls in the Finger Lakes region to play college lacrosse while adding to the geographic diversity of the roster at Keuka,” said Lickert.
“We are excited to have Kelly join our staff ,” said Athletic Director David Sweet. “She will bring her energy and knowledge of women’s lacrosse to our new, but successful, program and help the team continue its development as not only a power within the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) but the area as well.”
Lickert comes to Keuka from Nazareth College, where she served as assistant women’s lacrosse coach last season. She has also been an assistant coach in the Penn Yan summer lacrosse league and the Hobart and William Smith summer lacrosse clinic.
Lickert earned a bachelor’s degree in health and wellness from Limestone College (Gaffney, S.C.) in 2009 and is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 259 points (121 goals and 138 assists). She helped the Saints win three Conference Carolinas championships and earn a trio of trips to the NCAA Division II Final Four. She was a three-time All-American attacker.
Lickert inherits a team that went 10-5 in 2010 and won the NEAC and North Atlantic Conference championships.
