Senior Chris Mazella will lead the Storm in 2010.

The loss of its top two runners from last season’s squad will make improving on the Storm’s sixth place finish at the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) challenging.

Second year head coach Katie Marcella and her 2010 squad are up for the challenge.

Seniors Chris Mazella (Depew, N.Y./Depew) and Josh Uline (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton) will lead the way for the Storm.  Mazella was the Storm’s third place runner the majority of last season and finished with a top 8K performance of 31:29 at the Hobart College Invitational.  His top 6K time (22:37) came at the Nazareth College Invitational.  Uline finished fourth for Keuka twice and posted a season-best 8K time of 34:19 at the Hobart Invite.  His top 6K time was 23:46 at the Nazareth Invite.

Also back for Keuka is sophomore Justin Hess (Clyde, N.Y./Clyde-Savannah) who finished third for the Storm in three races as a rookie.  Hess ran a 31:47 8K time at the Hobart Invite.

New to the squad this year will be senior Cody Clement (Palymra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon), sophomore Joseph Reiss (Rochester, N.Y./Charlotte), and rookie Anthony D’Angelo (Derry, NH/Pinkerton Academy).

The Storm will open its schedule at the SUNYIT Invitational Sept. 4.  The NEAC Championships will take place at Penn State-Berks Oct. 30.
