A well-rounded Keuka College women’s basketball team placed four in double-figures as the Storm picked up its sixth conference win in seven games, defeating Cazenovia College 88-63 Wednesday night.

Junior Mariah Mouzon (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) posted another double-double, scoring 14 points with 14 rebounds while sophomore Taylor Szwec (Candor, NY/Candor) added 12 points and nine rebounds for Keuka (14-5, 12-3 North Eastern Athletic Conference).

Sophomore Danielle Gravel (Sidney, NY/Sidney) added 16 points and classmate Jessica Bandrowski (Center Moriches, NY/Center Moriches) chipped in with 15 points, 3 assists and 3 steals for Keuka (14-5, 12-3 North Eastern Athletic Conference).

Keuka’s offense, which entered outscoring the opposition by more than seven points per game in the first half, started fast again in completing the season-sweep of the Wildcats (5-16, 4-10). The Storm shot 22-for-41 (53.7 percent) in scoring 51 first-half points and led Cazenovia 51-30 at halftime.

Sophomore Casey Chamberlain (Perry, NY/Perry) grabbed 10 rebounds to go with nine points while freshman Amanda Kubitz (Spencerport, NY/E.J. Wilson) added eight points and sophomore Brittany Sinnott (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) added six points. Keuka outrebounded Cazenovia 48-31.

Megan McDermott and Erin O’Malley each scored 18 points for Cazenovia.

The Storm returns to action with a 3 p.m. home game Saturday afternoon against SUNYIT.
