Baseball Splits With Harrisburg

The Keuka College baseball team split a conference double header with the Nittany Lions of Penn State-Harrisburg on Saturday. The Storm lost game one by a score of 10-1 and won the second game 5-4.
The Storm now stand at 2-7 overall and 2-4 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) while Harrisburg now sits at 3-22 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
In game one, Keuka allowed four runs in the bottom of the third, another run in the fourth, and then five runs in the fifth while being out-hit 10-4. Keuka walked 10 batters in the game as freshman Dale Rifenbark (Mt. Upton, N.Y./Unatego) suffered the loss on the hill. Rifenbark allowed five earned in 3.2 innings of work. The Keuka bullpen allowed another five runs in 2.1 innings of relief.
