Men’s Golf Finishes Ninth at Hamilton Invite
Junior Curtis Evanicki shot a 4-over par 76.
The Keuka College men’s golf team placed ninth out of 12 teams at the Hamilton College Invitational in its first spring action of the year on Tuesday.
Keuka finished with a team score of 349 while Hamilton won its own invite with a score of 306. Keystone College and SUNY Delhi each scored a 309 to tie for second place while RPI (317) and SUNY Oswego (323) rounded out the top five.
Junior Curtis Evanicki (Honeoye, N.Y./Honeoye), back with the team after playing for the Storm as a freshman, tied for sixth overall out of 63 golfers with a four-over par 76. Sophomore Tyler Hoosier (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) tied for 39th after shooting an 85.
