Kunda Named NEAC Player of the Year; Leonard Tabbed as Goalie of the Year
Senior Drew Kunda was named the NEAC Player of the Year.
After dominating the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) this season by not losing a game (4-0), as well as winning the regular season and tournament championships, the Keuka men’s lacrosse team was well rewarded in the All-Conference selections.
The Storm received the top two honors in Player of the Year and Goalie of the Year while also placing five players on the All-Conference first team and two more on the second team.
Senior attacker Drew Kunda (Syrcause, N.Y./Westhill) brought home the league’s top honor as NEAC Player of the Year. Kunda led the Storm with 32 goals in just 15 games while adding 11 assists to finish with 43 points (second on team). Kunda’s three game-winning goals were a team-high as were his seven man-up goals. He added 25 ground balls.
