Men’s Tennis Drops First NEAC Match of Season
The Keuka College men’s tennis team was defeated by a score of 9-0 on the road Sunday against the Nittany Lions of Penn State-Harrisburg in its first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) match of the season. The loss drops Keuka to 0-2 overall while Harrisburg improves to 8-3 on the season.
The Storm lost the three doubles matches by scores of 8-1, 8-3, and 8-2. In singles play, the Storm were defeated by scores of (6-2, 6-1) in the first flight, (6-0, 6-1) in the second, (6-1, 6-1) in the third, (6-1, 6-0) in the fourth, (6-1, 6-0) in the fifth, and (6-0, 6-0) in the sixth.
Keuka will next play against Pitt-Bradford in Olean, NY this Wednesday, April 6 beginning at 6 pm.
