Young Squad to Lead Lady Harriers in ‘09

Sophomore Heather Fischer will try and lead a very young squad in '09.
First-year head coach Katie Marcella will sport a very young women’s cross country team in 2009. The squad’s lone two All-North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) runners both graduated, leaving the team with one junior and three sophomores returning.
“I’m excited to be able to take over the program and see where I can go with it” said Marcella. “This season is going to be a total learning process from start to finish.”
Youth may just be what the Storm needs to try and improve on last season’s fifth place finish at the NEAC Championships.
