Junior Class Leads Women’s Lax to Big Win

Led by 13 goals from its junior class, the Keuka women’s lacrosse team defeated the Eagles of the College of St. Elizabeth by a score of 23-3 on the road Saturday.
The Storm improve to 4-4 overall and remain perfect in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) at 4-0. St. Elizabeth slips to 0-10 overall and 0-6 in the NEAC.
The Storm dominated the Eagles in every category while outscoring them 12-3 in the first half and 11-0 in the second half. Keuka out-shot St. Elizabeth 40-6 while winning 20 of the 26 draw controls.
Junior Jennifer Bush (Endwell, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) led the offense scoring four goals while dishing out two assists. Classmate Brandy Shafer (Rochester, N.Y./Eastridge) also had four goals and two assists.
