Women’s Lax Defeats Abington 20-4 on Parent’s Day

The Keuka College women’s lacrosse eased to a 20-4 win over the visiting Nittany Lions of Penn State-Abington on Parent Day on Saturday.
The win is Keuka’s third straight and improves them to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). Abington falls to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
Keuka scored the game’s first 13 goals and cruised to a 14-1 halftime lead. The second half saw the Storm out-score the Nittany Lions 6-3 to secure the big 20-4 win. Keuka out-shot Abington 27-7 and picked up 34 ground balls to Abington’s 15. The Storm dominated the draw controls as well (18-6).
