Schreiner Named ECAC First Team All-Star

Senior Stacy Schreiner was named to the All-ECAC First Team.
Keuka softball player Stacy Schreiner (Port Byron, N.Y./Port Byron) was selected to the 2009 Division III Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate first team following her brilliant senior season.
Schreiner, also picked to the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) first team, batted .345 this season while driving in 17 runs. She also caught a staff that posted a 24-8 overall record, a 2.65 team ERA, and 155 total strikeouts.
The backstop committed only one error all year to finish with .990 fielding percentage while allowing only 11 stolen bases all year.
Schreiner finishes her career sixth all-time at Keuka in hits (79), third in doubles (16), fourth in RBIs (55), first in putouts (538), first in total chances (606), and second in fielding percentage (.982).
