McGowan Leads Six Women’s Tennis Players on All-NEAC Teams

Senior Megan McGowan was selected as the NEAC Player of the Year.
A day after winning the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Tournament championship, the Storm played well enough in the individual portion of the tournament to land all six players on the All-NEAC teams in both singles and doubles.
Head coach Matt Tantalo was also selected as the NEAC Coach of the Year after leading the Storm a to a perfect 6-0 regular season NEAC record and championship. Then following it up with the tournament championship.
Leading the players was senior Megan McGowan (Batavia, N.Y./Batavia) who was selected as the NEAC Player of the Year for the second time in her career. McGowan won her first match of singles in the first flight by a score of 6-0, 6-2 before defeating her opponent from Wilson College by a score of 6-4, 6-4 in the championship match.
