Alena Krug begins her fourth season as the women’s lacrosse coach here at Keuka and has guided the young program to an 12-18 record through her first three seasons.

In 2009, Krug led the Storm to a 3-1 NEAC record while winning the first-ever NEAC Tournament championship with a 14-13 win over Cazenovia College. 

She guided the Storm to a 5-5 record in 2008 after posting a 3-6 mark in 2007.

Coach Krug also guides the Storm’s volleyball team in the Fall and has led them to a 50-41 record in her first three seasons, including as impressive 20-8 record and a share of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season title in 2006.

From 2002-05, Krug was head volleyball coach at Tri-State University in Angola, Ind.  She also held head coaching positions at the University of Wisconsin – Superior (1998-2002) and Clarkson University (1995-1997).

Krug also directed the women’s lacrosse program at Clarkson from 1995-97.

In addition to her coaching experience, Krug was a compliance officer, senior women’s administrator, and an assistant athletic director at Tri-State University.

Krug earned a bachelor of science degree in physical education K-12 from SUNY Cortland in 1993 and is currently pursuing a master of science in education from Cortland.
