Sophomore Year…..Went 8-4, including 4-1 against NEAC foes, while playing in the top flight of singles…..Also went 8-4 and 4-1 against NEAC opponents while playing in the top doubles flight…..Was named the NEAC Player of the Year…..Was selected to the All-NEAC first team in both singles and doubles…..Won her two singles matches in the NEAC Tournament by scores of (6-3, 2-6, & 6-2) and then (6-4, 6-0) in the championship match…..Won both of her doubles matches in the NEAC Tournament by scores of 8-4 and 8-4 in the finals.

Freshman Year…..Played in 14 singles matches and 14 doubles matches while posting the most dominating season in Keuka College history…..Finished 7-7 overall and 5-1 in NEAC play in singles while playing in flight No. 1…..Was 9-5 in the 1st flight of doubles including a perfect 6-0 against NEAC foe’s…..Was named to the All-NEAC second team in singles and was a first team selection in doubles…..Was named the NEAC Player of the Week for the week of 10/15/07…..Recorded first career singles win with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over her Penn State-Berks challenger (9/15/07)…..Won 7-5, 6-4 against Keystone College (9/22/07)…..Had a hard fought victory over her Wells College opponent (10/6/07) with a 7-6, 1-6, 6-2 win…..Also had first-career doubles win against Penn State-Berks (9/15/07) with an 8-3 victory…..Won 8 more doubles matches including both her matches in the NEAC Championships, winning both by a score of 8-6.

Personal…..Daughter of James and Cynthia McGowan of Batavia, NY…..Has 2 brothers…..Was named to the first team All-County in high school.
