Senior Taylor Smith (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) had an all-around balanced game with two goals and an assist, and she also collected five groundballs, won four draw controls and caused three turnovers.

Senior Korie Fitzgerald (Vestal, NY/Vestal) stopped six shots and added three groundballs for the Storm.

Keuka and Hartwick (2-3) traded goals over the first 12 minutes, and the score was knotted at three with 17:48 remaining in the opening half after tallies from Burt, Smith and Arancio.

Bonafede assisted on the last two goals, but the Storm were held scoreless for the rest of the half while Hartwick tacked on two goals in a span of 4:10 to take a 5-3 halftime lead.

But the Green and Gold's defense clamped down and held the Hawks scoreless for the final 33 minutes and 48 seconds to earn the win.

Maguire, Willsey, juniors Anna Patton (Newark, NY/Newark) and Maggie Mercurio (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) and freshman Maura Gosson (Syracuse, NY/Marcellus) led the defensive charge for the stingy Storm.

Burt scored three goals, Maguire had two tallies and Smith added a score as the Storm used a 6-0 run to close out Hartwick.
